Our University CPD accredited Advanced Preoperative Assessment Course is suitable for all Registered Practitioners who wish to advance their knowledge of Preoperative Assessment which would support a higher level of practice. It is a suitable adjunct to our foundation hybrid course and covers the skills of heart & lung assessment, spirometry, echocardiogram and advanced ECG. 

The course takes place either face to face onsite or virtually via our Zoom pro platform and consists of 1 day live classroom teaching ,  3 months access to our online resources to consolidate knowledge, followed by assessment of competencies in practice.

For NMC Revalidation the module is equivalent to a minimum of 11 hours CPD (7 live classroom, 4 online) plus hours to complete competencies in practice.
